The Patrol Division within the department is responsible for responding to calls for service from 911, working traffic and traffic accidents, conducting building checks, providing assistance for crime victims, assisting the Investigations Division and a multitude of other responsibilities. Patrol Division which is made up by Officer Kevin Corbitt, and Sgt. Randall Rhymes who is also the supervisor over patrol. Sgt Rhymes started his law enforcement career with Pearson, graduating the police academy in 2005. Officer Bennett came to the department in 2005 after working with the Willacoochee Ga police department for about a year.
